AN INNOVATIVE, MULTILINGUAL VOYAGE

From Montessori pedagogy in crèches to French standards for kindergartens

For toddlers (18 months-3 years), Montessori pedagogy flourishes under the guidance of Caroline, an expert in this approach, favoring manipulation andsensory exploration. From kindergarten onwards, children grow up at the pace of a program that complies with French national education standards, enriched by periods in English and Vietnamese, according to the “one adult, one language” principle. This multilingual immersion naturally fosters self-confidence and curiosity.

A DYNAMIC PARENTING COMMUNITY

Close ties strengthened throughout the year

At Acacia Hanoi Tay Ho, we see parents as true partners of the school. Thanks to the ClassDojo application, each family is kept informed every week of their child’s activities, projects and highlights, promoting transparency and dialogue. Regular meetings (individual and collective) also enable the educational team to better understand the needs of each pupil and respond to them in a personalized way.

In addition to the school council, which brings together parents and teachers to reflect together on areas for improvement and the day-to-day life of the school, we organize festive events throughout the year, as well as vacation camps during each vacation period. These convivial moments foster cohesion between families, reinforce thespirit of closeness that we hold dear, and make Acacia Hanoi Tay Ho a place for sharing, where everyone contributes to the success and fulfillment of all.

ORGANIZATION FOR EVERY AGE GROUP

Clear sections to support every stage of early childhood

Acacia Hanoi Tay Ho welcomes children from the age of 18 months, in a harmonious progression that respects each child’s rhythm and needs. From nursery to kindergarten, pupils are divided into four main sections:

  • Explorers section (18 months – 3 years)
The first immersion in the school environment, this stage is similar to the crèche and the very small section. Our little ones discover a safe, reassuring environment, with support focused on motor skills, play andsensory exploration.
  • Section Aventuriers (3 – 4 years)
Also known as Petite Section (or K1), it marks the start of fundamental learning: language, socialization and creativity. Each child is encouraged toexpress him/herself and gain confidence, in a caring environment that stimulates curiosity.
  • Section Voyageurs (4 – 5 years)
Equivalent to Moyenne Section (or Reception), this age group consolidates what has already been learned, while opening up new areas for pupils: pre-reading, pre-mathematics and early-learning activities. Here, autonomy is reinforced and each child’sidentity asserts itself.
  • Section Globe-trotteurs (5 – 6 years)
Our Grande Section (or Year 1) gently prepares children for the transition to primary school. Here, children develop more advanced linguistic, cognitive and social skills, so they can continue their school careerwith confidence, whether within the AEFE network or at another international school.

This four-section organization is designed to best meet the needs of each child and encourage personal development, while ensuring smooth progress towards the requirements of the next cycle.
