CARING MANAGEMENT AND A PASSIONATE TEAM

A Revitalized Vision Rooted in a Unique Educational Philosophy

Under the leadership of Amandine Dossche, a dedicated and attentive headteacher, and the revitalizing influence of To Nhu Luong since 2022, ACACIA Hanoi Tay Ho is supported by a team of experienced and compassionate educators and ASEMs. Together, they nurture the Acacia spirit: placing people and openness at the core of the educational journey, while respecting the individual pace of each child.

AN INNOVATIVE, MULTILINGUAL JOURNEY

From Montessori Pedagogy in Crèches to French Standards in Kindergarten

For toddlers (18 months to 3 years), Montessori pedagogy thrives under the expert guidance of Caroline, focusing on hands-on activities and sensory exploration. From kindergarten onward, children progress through a curriculum aligned with French national education standards, enhanced by exposure to English and Vietnamese through the “one adult, one language” principle. This multilingual immersion naturally nurtures self-confidence and curiosity.

A DYNAMIC PARENTING COMMUNITY

Building Strong Connections Throughout the Year

At ACACIA Hanoi Tay Ho, we view parents as true partners in the educational journey. Through the ClassDojo app, each family receives weekly updates on their child’s activities, projects, and highlights, fostering transparency and open communication. Regular individual and group meetings help our educational team better understand each child’s needs, enabling us to tailor our approach accordingly.

In addition to the school council, where parents and teachers collaborate to reflect on improvements and daily school life, we organize festive events and vacation camps throughout the year. These gatherings strengthen the bonds between families, reinforce our sense of community, and make ACACIA Hanoi Tay Ho a space for sharing, where everyone plays a role in supporting the success and well-being of all.

ORGANIZATION FOR EVERY AGE GROUP

Tailored Sections to Support Every Stage of Early Childhood

Acacia Hanoi welcomes children from 18 months, guiding them through a harmonious progression that respects each child’s individual rhythm and needs. From nursery to kindergarten, pupils are divided into four key sections:

  • Explorers section (18 months – 3 years)
This marks the first immersion into the school environment, similar to a crèche or very small section. Our young learners discover a safe and nurturing space, with a focus on developing motor skills, play, and sensory exploration.
  • Adventurers Section (3 – 4 years)
Known as the Petite Section (or K1), this stage introduces fundamental learning: language development, socialization, and creativity. Each child is encouraged to express themselves and gain confidence in a supportive environment that fosters curiosity.
  • Trafvelers Section (4 – 5 years)
Equivalent to the Moyenne Section (or Reception), children in this group consolidate what they have learned, while exploring new areas such as pre-reading, pre-mathematics, and early-learning activities. This stage emphasizes the development of autonomy and the strengthening of each child’s identity.
  • Section Globe-trotteurs (5 – 6 years)
Our Grande Section (or Year 1) prepares children for the transition to primary school. Here, they develop more advanced linguistic, cognitive, and social skills, ensuring they are ready for the next step in their educational journey, whether within the AEFE network or another international school.

This four-section structure is designed to meet each child’s unique needs and support their personal development, while ensuring a smooth progression toward the next educational cycle.
