Our youngest child Arthur discovered ACACIA at just 1 year old, when he couldn’t yet walk. He was warmly welcomed into this bilingual family structure and spent 4 wonderful years there. ACACIA combines the advantages of the crèche we had known in France for our eldest children with the smooth transition to nursery school, and provides a solid second language without any effort on the child’s part. Arthur took part in numerous motor and sports activities, sang, took part in shows and outings… and never stopped smiling for 4 years!
After a year and a half in Acacia’s bilingual crèche, Matthieu had the chance to do his PS at Acacia’s bilingual nursery school, and he loved it! As well as speaking and learning in English, he discovered another way of teaching and a culture different from his own. He’s now very comfortable with non-French speakers, and has no qualms about expressing himself in another language (even one other than English!).
Samuel, who is now 7 (…) was one of Acacia’s first pupils when he was 18 months old. When he turned 3, I naturally enrolled him in Acacia’s “envol” section to begin his school life. We had to return to France during this school year, but despite the specificity of bilingual teaching at Acacia, Samuel integrated perfectly into his French school curriculum. And today he’s developing a particular interest in English, and his accent is much better than mine…
